Hallo my Blogland friend we meet again at another Saturday at Bugaboo and we have a new challenge at Catch The Bug this week the theme is: RECIPE CHALLENGE...you can join us and you will have a chance to win some lovely and cute Images from Bugaboo Store. Here is the Cannister that you can choos number 1, 2 or 3:
I choose Cannister 1 and it means:
1. Bugaboo Image
2. Red Cardstock
3. Twine
My big son help me this time to coloring, also please dont blame me if the color not so perfect :) (GRINZ). I choose this cute Image named: Little Pengin Winter - Toque
I dont feel nice if the RED cardstock look only red also I stamped some snowflakes on that RED paper and because a little accident, my son gave a blue color on the front of the Penguin also I stamped a little Christmas decoration ball and adhere it at the front side of the penguin. Last but not least I put the tag with sentiment and some twine.
Challenges for my card are:
Crafting From The Heart Challenge #61: Anything Goes (sdh a. p.)
Craft Your Passion Challenge #263: Anything Goes (2/3)(sdh a. p.)
Scribble and Scrap #45: Always Anything Goes (2/3)(sdh a. p.)
----------------------------------------
I also made this card using the sketch from WOW! Embossing powder Challenge, the one at right side down.(sdh a. p.)
Not much to write here is what I did for my card, I stamped the image on the black paper and gave embossing powder on the stamping image:
I think the pink paper is so empty if I left like this:
Also I have an idea to stamped the flower again with grey ink on the pink paper like this:
The stamp and the sentiment all from Botanical Love stamp set made by Create a Smile.
I love to joined these challenges:
Inspiration Destination #35: Anything Goes (2/3)(sdh a. p.)
Penny´s Paper Challenge #229: ATG (2/3)

Hi Monika, I lOVE that your son helped you with this card. When my son was about 10 he would help me with scrapbooking but now that he is 21 he has no interest in this or cards - LOL. I think the penquin turned out terrific and it's funny how quickly our crafty brains can turn a boo boo into a perfect coverup.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the gorgeous pink and green on the black paper. You are such a pro at making your own backgrounds.
Have a wonderful day. Hugs D
I especially like the second card, great idea to add the flowers, it makes the card really stand out, a true stunner x
ReplyDeleteAdorable penguin card and your flowers turned out beautifully too!
ReplyDeleteTwo brilliant cards Monika! I love them both!
ReplyDeleteThe way you have finished off the pink one is wonderful!

ReplyDeleteI don't have any coloured embossing powders apart from gold, silver, white and clear. Really must get some, your card looks amazing with all that embossed patterning. And your little penguin is so adorable, love how he is coloured too!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the coloring! ;)
Great job! I think I have those same color embossing powders - thanks for the idea! Thanks for joining us this week at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge! Hope to see you again soon.
