New month and new things in my life (a bit changing).
1. my job will not extended also I will be stay at home and search for new job
2. means also I have much time to creating cards and find my lovely challenge to joining in
3. I and hubby will be 15 year together after our wedding day at 3 October 2001.
Now let me share my card for him. Its a cute one I like to make not manly one today but this is a LOVE card with many hearts.
How I made my card:
I started with stamped the Mama Elephant Image on the white paper. Colored with Akashiya SAI watercolor marker, I choose pink and brown this time. I also drew the grass with the marker.
I show you here the the stencil I have got from Billie A. in USA that I always used for my card. I choose blue Distress Ink and sponged it using this stencil.
After that I also made this paper strip, I stamped many heart with red ink and cut it for the banner.
Here is the card photo once more, I sponged the edge of the card with tea dye ink.
Challenges for my card are:
As You Like It Challenge: Favourite Color Combo And Why (I love combo of pink and brown)
613 Avenue #190: Anything Goes (2/3)
The Ribbon Girl: October Anything Goes (2/3)
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes
The Challenge #80: A Sketch
--------------------------EDITEED 1------------------------
More info about how I made this card will write after my Lunch with my Hubby :)
----------------Edited 2---------------
We were having lunch in India Restaurant...very nice food yummm....but we did not made any photo there :)
Ok here is how I made my card:
I stamped the flowers and the butterfly then double stamp with Versamark Ink and gave clear powder on it. Heated it then.
Then I sponged this color of Distress Ink on that strip paper. I masked the white area too with big post it.
I used these stamp set for making my strip (butterfly from Boo Bunny and the Flower is from PTI) and the Sentiment is from PTI:
You can see the shiny of the sentiment here cause I double stamped with clear Versamark Ink and gave embossing powder on it.
One more Photo of my card. The embossing folder is Taylored Expressions.
Challenges for my second card are:
CAS Colour and Sketch #193:
Share Joy Challenge #55: Sketch and Tic Tac Toe (I Choose Ink Sponging, Orange and Sequin = the First Column)
Great Impressions Challenge: October Anything Goes

ReplyDeleteAWE!! Wishing you a happy anniversary!! :) Love that sweet bunny couple and I know he'll love the card too! I think your second card is gorgeous with all of the fun texture on your design!! Well done! HUGS
ReplyDeleteA bit late, but happy anniversary, it sounds like you had a lovely day with Indian food. I love Indian food, spicy preferably. Your card for hubby is sweet, this kind of occasion requires a sweet card I think. Great coloring and shading. And sweet heart details.
ReplyDeleteThe birthday card is quite retro in style, 70s like. I love that style. The layout is one I see others use more or less often, might give it a try, even though it won't be for the actual challenge.
The birthday card is what brought me to your blog today. I like that you used the embossing folder on the large white area. You did a super job with our CC&S double challenge! Thanks for sharing your card with us!
ReplyDeleteAlso, happy anniversary to you and your husband - from someone who was also married on October 3 (but in 1992)! :)

ReplyDeleteOh those cute little bunnies.. how darling and love the coloring of them and the scene. The second card..OH my looks like material. Very creative on colors and the embossing piece is perfect. So creative and cleaver. Hugs
