Another Violin card and Non Halloween but "Halloween" card :)

I love the sketch from Less Is More #247:

I made this Birthday for the sister of Sven (he is boyfriend of my sister) and she loves pink and violin also once more a card with violin from me ;)

I choose the burlap pink cloth and punched it with circle puncher and the other stamp of musical note and the violin is on the same stamp set. Simply stamp happy birthday with brown ink and voila my card is finish in a little minute. CAS and easy to repeated :

Challenges for my first card are:

Less is More : see Sketch above

Amusing Challenge: Anything Goes (2/2)

Craft Your Passion #285: Anything Goes (2/3)

Crafting From The Heart #83: Anything Goes (2/3)

----------------------------------------------------

For my second card I like to join the challenge at UNIKO #26, they ask for Geometrics. I come up with this card using my stamp from Stamplorations and I am inspired by the card from Cornelia here

I simply stamped the image and embossed it with white embossing powder and then sponged the color green orange and purple on the square. The Sketch is from Stamplorations too and I blended/ sponged the same TH Distress ink on the bottom part of my card...the sentiment is Penny Black and the Hat also (I cut the Hat part only and did not used the cat stamp, I am so sorry cute Cat :( )

Challenges for my card are:

Uniko #26: Geometrics

Stamplorations (October): Theme and Sketch

CASEplorations October: I inspired by the card from Cornelia on this POST

Stamplorations Anything Goes Challenge.

The Male Room #21: Halloween

QKR Stampede #162: Halloween

Cards in Envy: Trick or Treat Card Challenge

AAA Cards #51: Halloween All Styles

Thanks for looking and happy tuesday :)

Love,

  8. Your violin card sounds like it's perfect for the intended receiver, using two of her favorite things, a combo which I think you would find on a store bought card. That's why own made cards are so special and personal, not only because they're handmade, but they can be tailor made for the receiver.
Great halloweenish design. I don't make many Halloween cards, but I love the typical color combos....

  12. Your cards are lovely, Monika! I like the musical theme and colours on the first card, and I like the lovely geometric shapes on the second! I miss making cards! I haven't been able to play in my craftroom for weeks. All of my Cat Lovers Hop cards were made a while ago and I am glad I had not shared them on my blog already as this came in handy since I was not able to do any crafting. Hopefully the contractors will provide an update on when they will be coming so they can get on with the repairs!

  15. There is a saying in the USA 'winner, winner, chicken dinner'. Don't ask me where it came from but it rhymes and I guess that is all that matters because my friend this is a winner for sure!! It is so soft and subtle just like the music that comes from the violin, viola (hehehe), or cello. I am in love with this card.. It is music to my eyes!! Great job Monika!! Much love, me
