House of Cards November Challenge, Gold and Blue Buterfly

Now my post for today at House of Cards Challenge :)
Hi my blogland friend we meet again at the first date of the month it means a new monthly challenge at House of Cards, this time the theme is Stamped and Cut Window Technique.

Here is what I made for this month DT card: 

I dont have a big puncher also for this DT card I used my big shot to make the oval opening then I started to stamped the butterfly and embossed it with gold embossing powder.

I choose this three distress ink and started to sponged the white paper behind HAPPY BIRTHDAY sentiment. I am newbie at splatter the water on the ink surface but with this result, I am happy with my splatter.

Then I colored the butterfly with the same Distress ink. I adore this new set from Tim Holtz the colors are really yummy :)
