Thanks card in Yellow and Another Butterfly Card

I try today to make a card with yellow, this is also not a color I used often on my card :) this time I made 2 layers card :)

How I made:

Stamped the butterfly with versamark and gave orange and green Embossing Powder, the lovely stamp set is Bo Bunny, it was a gift from my lovely friend Petra, many thanks dear sweet Petra, very nice butterfly stamp, and I love it so much :)

here is the Butterfly with two different color of embossing powder

Then I used sponge to sponged the circle area of my card. I also use the same ink for sponged the left and right edge of my card :), last step I stamped the sentiment

Challenges for this card are:

QKR Stampede #183: Add A Sentiment

PDE LINKY Party #115: Anything Goes

Fussy and Fancy #159: Things with Wings

Wags 'n Wiskers #174: Wings

Global Design Project: Theme: Thank You

Stamplorations CAS Card Challenge March:

-----------------------EDITED-----------------------

I just made this card and dont want to make a new post also I put this card together in this post :)

I love the sketch fro Freshly Made Sketches, the card above too I inspired with that sketch also I made one more card using that sketch. And the color combo I tool from Color Throwdown, Red, Green and ligt Purple.

I used the same thechnique = using two different embossing powder this time red and glitter green on my butterfly

And the circle and stripe at the left and right side is sponged with light purple distress Ink.

Challenges for my second card are:

Color Throwdown #348

Freshly Made Sketches #228:

Crafty Gals Corner #63 Show Me The Green

Glitter and Sparkle #180: Anything Goes

Thanks for looking and leaving me some love, I am wishing you happy Saturday :)

Love,

  7. Oh, the power of color! Two cards using the same image and layout, but they look completely different, it's the impact of color. I love yellow, it's a cheerful color, uplifting and cool, your second is more classy and toned down. My favorite? It depends on my mood. But for this time of year and Easter ahead I'd say the yellow one:)
