As I dont have Gesso also I choose water color paper to make my card. Here is the result :
This is a card from Julie Campbell that we CASE-ing or our inspiration:
How I made my card:
1.I gave the light red and yellow Kuretake G. Tambi ink on my paper gave much water and let it flown. After dry I gave some splatter stamp in the light red color. (I am newbie at making splatter also still not good enough... LOL)
2. Stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts (2 differents) with black ink.
3. Used my goodies "tag" I have ever got from Vicki in USA (dear Vicki many thanks for those lovely tags :))
4. Adhere a bit Washi tape and some flower puncher paper in black and one heart gem stone.
Truly this is not my style I only CASE-ing the card on that link and I think I like the result...what do you think?
Hope you like our post, and dont forget to visiting Billie´s Blog and see the card that she made and leave her some love :)
Challenges for my card are:
The Paper Players #241: A Clean and Simple: Watercolor (sdh a. p.)
Sister Act Challenge #102: Anything Goes(sdh a. p.)
Creative Fingers Challenge #76: Always Anything Goes (sdh a. p.)
---------------------------------------------------------------
I also made a Feel Better Soon card for my friend...she has detected by the Doctor that her old breast cancer go to other area...ooh nooo :´(...I was sad to hear that but she is a taft lady and she get chemotherapy now...I am so happy I can see her smile again...and here is her card I made:
The Image is from Bo Bunny stamp set named Flutter Stamp, I loveeeee those butterflies and I was bought at Stempel Oase in Munich :)
I try to colored it using this lovely photo inspiration challenge from Waffle Flower challenge:
I colored it with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor and some are with copic markers (orange and brown colors), I see no place to put sentiment ooh nooo...then I stamped it, also embossed it with black embossing powder on a velum paper and adhere it at the top of the card :) the color on the butterflies really vibrant I love it and I think my friend was so happy and smile looking at my card :) hope she will getting well soon...amen.
Challenges for my butterfly card are:

Amusing Challenge: Butterflies

LG Flo
Lovely cards today Monika. Your watercolour background is very pretty and love your butterflies... has my card arrived? I sent it 2 weeks before your birthday!
ReplyDeleteWow you have been busy!! Seriously Monika what wonderful work you have done.. I would like to send you your birthday card so let me know your address so I can send it on its way.
ReplyDeleteOh what great work you so Monika! I just love it.. However I think I need to subscribe to email. I am not getting your updates... So I will make sure to keep up-to-date. Hugs from Michigan!!!
I love the random look of your first card and how you avoided it looking just messy. This is random in an orderly fashion:)
ReplyDeleteThe same goes for your butterfly card. Vellum is brilliant for making place for a sentiment without covering the background too much. A good idea for me as I typically forget to plan a space for the sentiment (when will I finally learn from my mistakes??)
Fantastic cards Monika..Loz
ReplyDeleteOh wow Monika!! Your watercoloring looks really stunning!! Such a wonderful take on your CASE card my friend and glad you can use the tags!! :) The colorful butterflies looks really amazing with your coloring!! Best wishes for your friend! Thanks for the inspiration today!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I sent you a birthday card, I sure hope you receive it soon! HUGS

ReplyDeleteI've been trying to work out what to do for the Waffle Flower Challenge. Your butterflies match the photo so perfectly, they are awesome!! Just love the watercolour background you created for your first card too, goes so well with the sentiment stamp, very pretty. So glad to see your still enjoying your birthday. What a shame all our birthdays don't last for a month!! Wouldn't that be fun??!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Monika! I love the butterfly one, so colorful!
