A Happy Birthday Card with full flower background
I have seen at Shona's Blog a lovely challenge from Winnie and Walter NSD with Pinkfresh Studio Challenges and I like to join this time :)
I look at this lovely mood board and love the picture at the bottom part with so many flowers in so many colors...
I took my old Stampin Up stamp and stamped on a white paper:
Started to colored with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor those flowers:
And I thought this Background not GOOD enough (look so empty) also I took my Bokeh Dots stamp and started to stamped the tiny dots with purple distress ink:
Now I feel more happy with the background I made (looks like a design paper right? it was easy to made :) and I can mimic the color on the mood board) :
I finished my card with Cut Out (HAPPY) I have got from Joyce as goodies for my birthday, dear Joyce many thanks for your lovely Goodies all are adorable die cuts...and I stamped BIRTHDAY using my Hero Arts Alphabet stamp and punched it one by one with SU Puncher.
Here is the complete card:
Do you think that background to busy? I hope not :)
Challenges for my card are:
Winnie and Walter NSD with Pinkfresh Studio - Create your own Background

ReplyDeleteYay!!! So glad you joined in and your card is amazing! Must have taken so long to stamp all those little flowers and its so worth it. The colours are so sweet and love that you had good ink to stamp right on to the background, makes it really stand out!

What a gorgeous card - I can see why you don't like to use designer papers when you can create such amazing backgrounds! Many thanks for the spring roll recipe - I have some wrapper dough in the freezer and a tin of bamboo shoots in the cupboard so I'll make some very soon
