I also made this card and want to share with you on this post:
I choose the same butterfly image like the card above, but I only stamped with black ink on the circle and colored it with purple, blush color and yellow. The rest I stamped with grey ink on the white paper.
I punched the sentiment with my SU Circle Puncher.

ReplyDeleteOh my wish that was my birthday card.. but it's not till November but I love that first card. the colors the black behind the butterfly piece is a great look. Love the twist to it.. Did I say I love love love this card and the colors.. Awesome

ReplyDeleteTwo very different cards using the same stamps. Your coloring on the first one is superb! They look just like real butterflies do. As for your second I love the technique of just coloring parts of the image. Great job!

ReplyDeleteI am back in the swing of things and I did miss a lot of your amazing work!! the spotlight technique you used for the butterflies is so nice!! the central butterfly draws your eye right in and not only till a bit later that you realize (at least for me) that it is spotlighted... Just beautiful color and composition!!
This stamp set of butterflies is amazing Monika so versatile as you clearly show here!! the colors are just amazing and your use of sequins is absolutely perfect.. Your use of black is also just divine.
OMGoodness! More beautiful butterflies! These are gorgeous, Monika! I love butterflies - they are my second favourite behind kitties! Both are so beautiful! I think your first card is absolutely stunning! I love these colours together and your colouring is beautiful!
