First I made this (self made) orange paper using my stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I used my very old rubber stamp from Pink Cat Studio, and I stamped on a black cardstock, embossed it with white embossing powder, for the orange ribbon on the dress, I stamped it on an orange card base and fussy cut and adhere it on the dress.
Challenges for my card are:
Time Out Challenge #42:
FUSION Challenge:
Make My Monday: Black and Orange
Fussy and Fancy Challenge 150: Color Choice! Orange, Black or Purple (I choose orange and black)
Little Red Wagon #311: Tags
Colour Q #312:
Mixed Media Card Challenge: Oktober, Black and Orange (I used twine, die cut TAG and embossing powder on my card)
Our Crafty Corner Challenge #2: Anything Goes/Getting Ready for Halloween
Thanks for looking and happy saturday :)

Cute card! Love the dress!
ReplyDeleteWell done for creating a non-Halloween card in those colours, I love that little dress and it looks great in white on black, with the pop of orange. Thank you once again for your sweet comments about my cards, you're an angel. Hugs x
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute, I like your twist on Halloween! Pop over to my blog, you will be surprised!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic and what a fabulous way to use the colours. We don't celebrate Halloween much in New Zealand either but being a fan of horror movies and finally having a few more Halloween stamps I'm actually enjoying making them this year.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great card. Thank you for joining our tag challenge at Little Red Wagon this week.
ReplyDeleteI love you new blog look!! Awesome card too my dear!! :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful way to use those colors, Monika! I don't send Halloween cards either, so your card is a great inspiration of what else to make!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous card! I love all of the great graphic stamping and embossing you did on this card!
ReplyDeleteYippee!! I saw your card on MMM while commenting and had to come on over to check this out.. I adore this card Monika.. Most Halloween cards (mine included) have so much dark space but not you lady!!! All the white is so pretty surrounding your non-Halloween card is wonderful, crisp and clean... I love what you did with the tag as well.. Awesome job...
ReplyDeleteA really great card, I don't bother much with Halloween either so it's great to see the current black and orange colour schemes handles in a completely non-Halloween way!

Dear Monika,
ReplyDeleteYou made a very cute card with these "Halloween" colours. I actually think the same way. There are so many Halloween challenges at the moment but most likely noone really wants to have Halloween cards. But then again, maybe some of our friends will appreciate a little card in their mail boxes, right? Dunnily I was working on some of the same challenges as you were with this card. You will see them soon :)
Have a beautiful Sunday! Hugs from your friend stempelfrida

Klasse Karte!!!
ReplyDeleteMit diesen Halloween-Farben kann man, wie du es zeigst, auch wunderbare "normale" Karten gestalten. ich bin auch kein Halloween-Fan und drücke mich immer um solche Karte.n.
Genieß den Sonntag,
Flo

ReplyDeleteGorgeous Tag card Monika..Loz
ReplyDeleteI love seeing Halloween cards but I don't make many as I don't need them, it's not a big happening here in Norway either. But the color scheme for Halloween is perfect for other themes as well as you've demonstrated here. I think it's a great and different style feminine design!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic card Monika! I love all of the stamps you've used and the added twine, so cute!
ReplyDeleteHugs Tammy
