Hallo my Blogland friend, we meet again on Sunday at our brand new challenge at Sunday Stamps this time we have another Color Challenge:
I like to try my new stamp sets from Mama Elephant, this cute cupcake with teddy Bear ...I think if I am a little girl I will ask my mommy to make this kind of teal Cupcake :)
I first colored my cupcake....the wrapping under the cupcake is in Navy Blue paper, I embossed it with white embossing powder. I choose teal watercolor to coloring the cupcake self and the Teddy Bear I colored with Dark Green and light Blue, I hope I have put all the colors at the graphic above :).
I also sponged the card base to match with the Tag I made:
The sentiment is die cut from Create A Smile, I used navy blue paper.

I have seen on this Youtube Video how to make a felt flower from Margaret M and I really like to try it...do you believe me it is so easy and fun to make...you only need felt, hot gun glue and scissors.
I sponge the background with three different Distress Ink, the light green, green and blue. The sentiment is from DYMO machine.

Beautiful stenciling for this week's challenge. I love the way to faded the background so your yummy cupcake can pop!
ReplyDeleteNice play with the colors, I really like them, not sure I'm able to use them myself though. It always looks easy when you see what others have made, but it's an entirely different story when sitting down to make something yourself. Love the result , great use of stencil to make borders. The felt flowers? Absolutely fun and love the dimensional look!

ReplyDeleteOh your teddy bear cupcake is the kind of cupcake I wanted when I was little! It is so sweet and I think of my son's love of gummi bears! I think he has eaten 100#'s of them and he would eat your cupcake too if it were near! Your felt flowers have so much dimension and flair!
