Today, I dig all my manly stamps set. Then I found coffee mug, coffee cup, donut, bicycle, traktor, cars...etc and I found this stamp set..I feel I really want to use this Hero Arts (old collection) Image..why..cause my Hubby love to grill and he ever have similar grill like this..also I decided to stamp and colored with black Akashiya SAI watercolor marker.
I choose the burlap embossing folder for covering the card base, and the grass also water colored with Akashiya Say (the color really blended so great if it touch with water brush) I was not sure where to put the sentiment also HAPPY from MFT Stamp at top left side, and the Father`s Day (same set) on a speech bubble that I drew by self and fussy cut it, I adhere with double tape foam adhesive. I can called my card finished :) and my Hubby said ooh cute that Grill can talk :)

Monika, I love this old Hero Arts stamp! I recognized that grill right away! So happy to see it used again...and so perfectly! What a great image to use for a Father's Day card...we call my husband the "grill master." I bet your husband will love this card! Great embossed card base, too. ReplyDeleteIt's fun how you made it look the grill speaking, a cool detail. The way you added grass helps ground the image. Many of your stamps I wouldn't know what to make with, but getting aha moments seeing what you've made. I've got unused stamps, lots, and I think I'm ready to ink some of them up keeping it CAS and adding clever sentiment details...
