Here is my second post for today, if you look at House Of Cards post please Klick HERE.
I was so excited being a winner on the 7 days Card Making challenge at Bugaboo Challenge Blog, it was a challenge named: Second Annual Christmas Chaos. And today is the day I can put my Badge as Guest Designer on their lovely challenge blog.
I made a humor me wednesday card for the FIRST post on their blog. I choose Stella Image named Stella Tidbits - Harddrive. And I also choose one theme: Fun at Work Day.
I colored the digi Image from Bugaboo with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor and the sentiment also from Stella Image from Bugaboo. The red paper behind the main Image is a Batik Paper from Bali.
I also love to join these challenges:
Crafting By Design: April Anything Goes
Crafty Creations Challenge #286: Anything Goes - No Foolin´(sdh a. p.)
Crafty Gals Corner #13: Humor, Comedy, Funny
Fab ´n´ Funky Challenge #253: Lots of Layers(sdh a. p.)
Inspiration Destination #27: Anything Goes(sdh a. p.)
-------------------------------------------------------
Then I stamped the leafs stamp and embossed it with white embossing powder. After that I look at my distress ink I dont have the color I want, also I gave the color from my Kuretake Ganzai Tambi Watercolor. The color are Fuchsia, Orange, Brown like this color palette from Creative Colors Challenge:
Yeah I am newbie at this scored paper technique if you see Shawna card, the scored lines stay white...I think maybe I should sponged to have the same result like her card :)
My Paper after stamped and colored with watercolor ink:
Then I stamped 3 times the sentiment using Stamp-a-ma-jig.(I dont have MISTI and it not sell yet in Germany...too bad :( )
And because the challenge asked butterflies I put here two :) the rest I also put the pearl at the Corner and the puncher heart at the right side of the panel.
Challenge I love to join are:
Creative Colors Challenge: See the Photo Inspiration above. (sdh a. p.)
Speedy Fox & Friends #255: Make a Happy Birthday Card include Butterfly (sdh a. p.)
The Challenge: Anything Goes (sdh a. p.)
Butterfly Challenge #27: Butterflies + C is for Corner (I put my corner sticker on my card :) )(sdh a. p.)
Seize The Birthday: Anything Goes Birthday(sdh a. p.)
Thanks for looking and happy wednesday :)

ReplyDeleteMonika your first card made me giggle! It reminds me of my grandma - she's so terrible with computers! And even though the white lines didn't stay white, I think the inky background on your second card is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up at Crafty Gals Corner!
Hello again Monica. What a fun background you have created for the butterflies. They really look at home on there. It is a great technique. Thankyou for flutterfing by with your second card. Hugs Mrs A.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY Monika. Hope your day will be super special and filled with some lovely surprises. Then secondly, I am apologising for my lack of visits here of late. Life is just rolling away with me and I have been dealing with one of life's curved balls thrown at me recently.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are wonderful as always. Love Stella's humour re her hard drive she cant get in reverse lol. Then I love how you scored/embossed the leaf card first. I also have the very same score board which I use to make envelopes with, so this is a lovely tip, thanks for sharing my friend.

Love the sentiment on the first card. My DH calls people like that "12:00 Flashers" for the fact that their microwaves and other electronic devices are always at 12:00. Makes me giggle every time.
ReplyDeleteLove the scoring and embossing on the second card. Thanks for sharing with us at MFP's Speedy Fox and Friends.
Your first card is hilarious! More evidence, too, of your fabulous colouring skills! Your scored line card: ever so pretty! I think you've done an exceptional job in cas-ing Shawna's technique! Your choice of images and colours: so eye-catching!
