Another Father´s Day Card with a Ribbon Tie and a Watch Birthday Card

As I read many challenge for DAD or manly card..I have a need to make one more Father´s Day card... LOL

I love to make manly card as it is easier than if I should make a card with flowers....my sence of flower is not so good..as my thumb also not good to take care the flower at home (I confess)...

A challenge at CAS-ual Fridays called me to make a manly card with some sort of ribbon.

I think a TIE will be needed for every father in the world...am I right? My Dad he is not working in the office and wear so less tie... but as I was marry with my husband off course he was wearing tie too.

Here is another photo of my card, I embossing the sentiment with silver color and drawing the faux stitching with silver pen. The ribbon is my stash since 2009.

I put this card on the same post cause I have less time to make a new blog post...I am sorry....

Also for my card number two I used the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this sketch #79, the easy sketch to follow I think.

Here is the card I made using the sketch above, I really love to use this TIC TOC stamp sets from Paper Smooches.

I colored the watch with different ink also the stamp is so nice we must not colored it self.

Challenge I love to join with my second card:

  12. Monika, you sure know how to ROCK the guy-themed cards in the most fabulous way! That tie is awesome! I couldn't make a proper tie knot in a real tie never mind a little one like yours. My husband rarely wears ties - last I remember was when we got married (I was an old bride, for sure *grin*) almost three years ago! I think my mom or dad helped him with the knot; they're both tie experts. Wonderful, deligthful card! As for flower cards - oh goodness, Monika, you certainly have the green thumb for those, especially for your first GD post! I think you're incredibly talented no matter what the image or challenge! You're a gem!! Hugs~c

  32. You've got so many great stamps, Monika! The thing is I would never have thought of using them this way, I think the card with watches is really clever! A fun colorful masculine design, the DP is really a decorative detail too, not too overwhelming so it feels still very CAS!

  39. Hello sweet Monika! Using watches as your interpretation of the sketch is AWESOME! Fresh, original and fabulous! I'd wear any one of those watches; in fact, I'd enjoy the entire set. Talk about a delightful 'wardrobe' of watches! Once again, you're revealing how incredibly creative you are! I'm sooooo sorry to hear about your husband's mom, and how heart-warming to be welcoming her into your home while she undergoes treatment. I know that you and your family will do everything possible to make her experience as positive as it can be. As for making cards: oh, please, please try! Even though you have others to take care of, you also need to take care of YOU! Your creativity needs expression, and you need to have a 'special outlet' for your own well-being! Besides, you ordered some new goodies *grin* and I so want to see the magic you work with them! Yes, butterflies are my favorites!! My brother, sister-in-law and niece and nephew (4 and 2 years old) are here for the weekend. I am soooo excited! Huge hugs, Monika!!~c
