As Justin told me that I have a chance of being a Guess Designer Member at Paper Crafting Challenges Blog.....I was really really happy :-).......she said the next theme at Paper Crafting Challenges is SUMMER.
Also here is my idea for a summer card hope you like it and I can inspired you:
All the stamp I used is from Hero Arts, the cloud the dress and the sentiment also.
I like to make a little scene this time that in summer time we can hanging the clothes outside to make it dry...it reminds me the time as I was living in Indonesia. My mom always hanging the clothes outside and it always finish for 2-3 hours. In Germany we get not much sunny day....also I sometimes miss the Sun that always comes everyday like in Indonesia :)
Challenges I would like to join with this card:
Hambo Hoedown: here comes the Summer
The Paper Shelter: Challenge #162 Summer Time (sdh a.p.)
----------*****-----------
Another card I made following this sketch and color challenge, the challenge is GAME #6 "ENJOY":
Here is the card I made:
The lamp are from Hero Arts and the sentiment also.
I have to think which stamp should I choose for this sketch (I dont have long and simple stamp)...I dont want to use ribbon as its not my fave things to put on a card LOL...also I put the lamp in different color mimic the sketch and colors above.
The table I cut from my Stash, it was a brown paper stamped with woodgrain from Hero Arts with brown ink.
For finishing, I covered the unclean/dirty area with the pearls.
Challenge I love to join with my second card:
Paper Crafting Journey: Anything Goes (sdh a.p.)
Moving Along With The Themes: Keep It Clean and Simple (sdh a.p.)
Addicted to Stamp and More: CLEAN AND SIMPLE (sdh a.p.)
Crafting by Designs: Happy Birthday (sdh a.p.)
Inkspirational Challenge # 58: Clean And Simple
I Also love to join the challenge #1 NBUS Never-Before-Used-Schtuff), Darnell has the challenge on her lovely Blog start 6 of June. Why I choose this stamp...it was a GIFT from my friend and it was from 2013...It stays on my drawer until yesterday :) LOL, the stamp sets is from Hero Arts its three stamp on a set. (sdh a.p.)
----------*****-----------
I made this card last night also I will put together on this Post too...I love this photo inspiration from House of Cards:
Also this is my interpretation:
I am not having a basket image also I choose the chair Image and gave white embossing powder on it and embossed, then I sponged the green and blue distress ink, gave three punched flowers and the punched grass, and stamp some leafs with green Ink on the main Image and on the card base. Last step I put the chrochet flower.
This card I made for these challenges:
House of Cards: the Photo inspiration above (sdh a.p.)
Sister Act Challenge #61: Anything Goes (sdh a.p.)
Craft For thec Craic #5: Something summery or with flowers (until 30 June)
Craftitude Challenges #67: Use Flowers and/or Lace (sdh a.p.)
QKR Stampede Challenge #92: Anything (sdh a.p.)
The Stamping Boutique Challengeblog #21: Flower Embellishment (sdh a.p.)

Congrats on your guest design team spot, so well deserved. Your card is summer at its best and I love how you did the wording on the side. Then your lamp creation is just stunning and so creative. Have a wonderful weekend.

Such a novel idea to use lampshades to represent the strips from the sketch. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards this week.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATs on your GD spot, Monika!Love your summery card and it's so true that when it's summer, we tend to hang our clothes outside!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, love them both - the first one is so sunny! We had a lot of rain here the last few days... sure could use some sunshine! HAve a great weekend, Monika!
ReplyDeleteThese are both darling, Monika! LOVE that fun summer sentiment and the darling scene you created! :) You asked how many cards you could enter into the blog hop at House of Cards--as many as you'd like! :) HUGS!!! Mynn xx

Great cards Monika! My favorite is the CAS card you made for our challenge! Great take on the layout you chose -what a fun idea to use those lamp stamps! I really like the paper pieced shades. Thanks for joining us at Inkspirational!
ReplyDeleteCheering and applauding your guest design spot, Monika, Your sweet dress hanging on the line to dry is absolutely A-DOR-A-BLE; all the more impressive with the sun and clouds background and diagonal cut! Again: ever so creative! I used to have a clothesline in my 'home' city (where my family still lives - about four hours away), but not here - too cold and not sunny enough. Sounds like the weather here is quite similar to yours! We get a lot of wind though...gusty and blowing quite often. I can imagine that if I did hang clothes, they'd be blown up the mountains or through the valleys *grin* Your second card is brilliant; the lamps totally work as the 'streamers' (I'm not a fan of using ribbon on my cards, either). Total cuteness! Your third card is such a lovely summer scene; the chair is inviting and the sponged sky and die cut lawn add special touches. Beautiful!! Hope you have a marvelous day, my dear friend! Remember: be sure to have some special "you" time every day!! Hugs from the mountains~c

ReplyDeleteI hope you have a ball doing DT your cards are wonderful. I remember hanging washing out for my mom and for a long time I did too (I loved the fresh smell of them) I don't do it now though ill health makes a tumble dryer a necessity. Wow!!! 29 comments!!!! Amazing!! Love your summer card for Paper Crafting Challenges!!! Wonderfully done clothes on the line!!! My mother did this too. In Washington it takes many hours to get dry, I was not too nice I clipped baby snakes to the pins to joke on my mom, us kids were always playing jokes on my mom!!! I would never touch a snake now, but when I was a kid, nothing scared me, so I thought it was silly crazy my mom was afraid of cute little fun snakes, they were so harmless, though in Indonesia, your snakes are NOT harmless!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards Monika. Good luck with the Guest design team member..Loz

ReplyDeleteWow, lots of comments here, no wonder with these 3 fab designs!
ReplyDeleteYour first one has a great summery feel to it! I like how the dress hangs from the tree branch, and the little bird house is a sweet detail. The clouds and sun make up a great outdoors scene.
The card with lamps is a fun colorful design. I think it's a card that represents your unique style, it's something I would never have come up with and I do love your way of combining colors with the CAS style.
As for your last card I love how you've used inks to make the outdoors background. It looks great with the stamped leaves. A beautiful and peaceful scene!
