WEEK 3 - Billie & Monika background - STRIPES & Butterfly Image , Bikini CAS Card and a GREEN Card (again :) )

As I mention you on this post, that I make a challenge between me and  Billie Anderson from Ink On My Finger this time is our WEEK #3, I have choosen the theme this time, we will challenge to make a stripes Background and plus Butterfly as main Image.

I stamped the stripes background stamp from Hero Arts with clear ink and gave my "new" ZING green embossing powder on it. I love the result it is look so green like in the summer time in the garden :)

For the main Image I stamped the cloud background from Hero Arts with Versa Mark clear ink and gave the blue embossing powder on it and heated it. Here is how I colored my Butterfly (Hero Arts stamp):

1. Stamped on a pink paper the butterfly with black ink.

2.Gave clear embossing pen on the area that I want to give green embossing powder.

3. Heated it and colored the middle of the butterfly with brown copic marker.

I did think without sentiment is not fun..also I stamped the sentiment (again) on the pink paper with black ink and fussy cut, and adhere to the main Image.

I love the color combo look so feminin with all pink around this card (normally I dont use much pink on  a card I am fan of Purple but this time Pink is better on this card, dont you think so?)

Hope you like our post, and dont forget to visiting Billie´s Blog and see the card that she made and leave her some love :)

Challenges I love to join with my card:

Use Your Stuff #177: Create Your Own Background(sdh a. p.)

Stempelküche Challenge #14: Es Grünt So Grün

Sister Act Challenge #97: Anything Goes (sdh a. p.)

Stempel Sonne Challenge: Anything Goes (Until 19 March)(sdh a. p.)

----------------------------------------------

For my second card I decided to play again at CASology Challenge with the theme TROPICAL:

I just bought this Digital Image from Pattiescreations on her Etsy Store:

I think I will try to use my Stencil again, also I use the same technique like I did on this post, I use the Waves Stencil from Create a Smile (I bought since January and just use it this time LOL). The Swimsuit flower motive I colored with orange Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor set and  just so thin orange color I put on the swimsuit. The sentiment Invited my friends to go swim together in Bali (LOL) because in Germany always cold nowadays :)

Challenges for my second card are:

CASology week 137: Tropical

Stamplorations March Challenge: Stamps & Stencil

Happy Little Stamper (March Challenge): Sponging

AAA Cards Challenge: Game #35 Bare Naked CAS(sdh a. p.)

I put also this third card on my post today, I just finished made this :) I colored the Image with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor set. The belt I colored with gold pen.

This cute Leprechaun is from Sami Stamp Shop and it is a Freebie the name is Lucky Leprechaun.

As I have no clover stamp, also I (again) used my puncher, (this time clover puncher)

for making my background for my card, I sponged the distress ink on the light green paper: (an easy way to make you own design paper right :) )

Challenge for my card:

Color Me...! Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz (sdh a. p.)

Sami Stamps - Add Green

Sketch Saturday - sketch (sdh a. p.)

{Cupcake Inspirations} - "Lucky"
(sdh a. p.)

Friday Mashup #200: Create a Project using your TWO Favorite mashup Challenges together on one project.

I Choose #38 Watercoloring (I colored the Image with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor set.)and #48 St. Patrick´s Day

  10. I think the pink adds a feeling of spring to this card, I think people would look great too, but less spring and different. You were right to add that small sized sentiment too.
That swimsuit card looks great, so summery and classy with a great background.
Love your stenciling using your own made stencil for the leprechaun card. I think you're very creative, you find so many clever solutions. I've made a card using the Sketch Saturday sketch too will show tomorrow.
Also, I've changed the comment field to pop up again, if you could just check next time you visit that you don't need word verification that would be great.
I will cut new die cuts for you this weekend.
