I have seen a new challenge at Addicted to Stamp and More with Holiday theme, also I took my Holly Background Artplorations Stencil and started to sponged it with my white ink. After it was dry, I then sponged with green color.
Here is the result of my stenciled paper with that two inks:
For the fruit I colored with red embossing pen and I gave Red Embossing powder on it and embossed it, and I gave more green on that paper :)
I think of a fun sentiment with gingham paper (but my gingham paper is not enough, : (( sad), also what should I do??? I stamped the Hero Arts Sentiment, embossed it with red embossing powder and I try to wrap my circle with gingham washi tape see the photo bellow:

For my second card...I have a special story...I went home today from my office and found some letter for my hubby in post box...annnddd only one for me...I saw the who sent me a post??.....and I was so happy that is from Flo from Flos Habseligkeiten, she sent me the lovely Images from Stamplorations the BIRD one yaaayyy :)....many thanks Flo...here I made a manly card using that Bird you sent me: (As we life in Germany, the post from USA, we can not prediction...it could be a week or if I am not lucky could be 4 weeks till it come to my home)
Here is how I made my paper, I stamped many times that bird house and colored it with my copic marker.
I forgot to made foto after it was finished (Silly me) also here is the paper I made on the card base:

I colored my bird with 3 brown copic marker, I distressed the edge of the DP and for the circle behind the bird too.

Oh, your stenciled background is so pretty and I love the extra touches for the berries! I will have to take out some of my stencils and use them after seeing your inspiration! ReplyDeleteJust love your Christmas card, especially the off-set stenciling you did. Its so effective and looks amazing. Have been wanting to try this myself but the white pigment ink I purchased was a big fail (was from SSS, very disappointed) but have just ordered the same Hero Arts Unicorn as yourself, so hopefully I will get a good result like this. And you know I'm always happy to see you at ATSM!!
