2. I masked the Flower and stamp the leaf with green ink.
3. The result of the paper after stamped with flower and leaves.
4. The result after I colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor in yellow.
5. I took a lovely Butterfly Cut Out from Flo (dear Flo this butterfly really Adorable I loovee to use it again and again, many thanks dear Flo :) ) and colored with purple, dark blue and light blue on it.
6. Result of my butterfly colored with water color.
Here again a complete Photo of my card:

Love,
This is gorgeous Monika, lovely stamped flowers and stunning blue butterfly. I am no good at sticking vellum, so any advice you get, please pass on!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, I love it! For sticking vellum I used to use a product called Invisi Dots for Vellum, I've not seen any for ages so I don't know if they still make it. But now I just look for a place that's going to be hidden by an embellishment and put the glue there

eine tolle Karte !!!!
ReplyDeleteleider weiß ich dir keinen guten Rat für das Vellum ... ich will demnächst den Gluestick von TOMBOW versuchen, vielleicht ist der besser ?!?!?
LG hellerlittle
This is lovely, Monika and such a gorgeous colour palette you've chosen to play with, Jo x
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous cheery card, like your design and colors, that vellum adds a nice touch too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background & a gorgeous card Monika! I love the colour combo!

So beautiful how you made your card like a field of flowers and the butterfly just landed on them Monika.
ReplyDeleteI can tell you have quite a stamp stash too. I am IN LOVE with this card Monika!! The butterfly is so nice with the two tone blue. And the the vellum is just enough to soften the flowers behind the card... All I have to say is WOW!! You need to come to the USA and visit.. I think we would have a good time!! Take care my friend...
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! There are specific glue runners for vellum, but I usually staple mine or use brads to connect it to my card. If you stamp an image on it, you can add the adhesive behind that, as well. Thank you for linking up with my Birthday Giveaway at On A Stampage! HUGS! :) Mynn xx
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you made your own background paper...it looks like something you bought! Awesome! There is a product by 3M made especially for vellum..it comes on a roll...but like others said, just add a dot of glue where ever you have an embellishment on top, or a word or an image you have colored or cut out. That way it is hidden! Beautiful card, Monika
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Monika
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and BG paper Monika..Loz
ReplyDeleteWas für ein toller Schmetterling!!! Beinahe schöner als das Original.
ReplyDeleteUnd die gelben Blumen dazu sind der Hingucker.
Alles in allem eine supertolle Karte!!!
Liebe Grüße,
Flo
Hi Monika, I totally love the blue and yellow and the vellum with the butterfly on top. which is gorgeous. Great background with the flowers so appropriate for the butterfly to be attracted to. Lovely card friend.. Hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Monika! Love your background and the gorgeous butterfly! As for vellum, if you don't have a special adhesive for vellum, just try to apply your glue or tape underneath one of your design elements so it does not show.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous, Monika! I love your background paper! You did an amazing job on the background stamping! It's so pretty and a perfect fit with your butterfly!
ReplyDeleteIt's so interesting to see how your background evolves from a bland paper to a professional looking DP. It has never occurred to me that I could color a die cut, will remember to try that. It's looking gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour bg paper is lovely. Love this colour combo. Very striking Hugz
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Your own bg papers is fabulous! You should think about producing your own line of papers! They are that good!
