We meet again on Sunday at our brand new challenge at Sunday Stamps this time we have a sketch challenge:
As this time it is popular using red, white and blue colors, also I choose those colors for my card. Using The Lawn Fawn stamp set named Float my Boat, I first stamped and embossed with white embossing powder the blue card base.
I used again my cloud template from Billie A. , (again many thanks dear Billie :) ) and sponged it with blue distress ink.
Hope I can inspired you to join our sketch challenge :)
Challenges for my card are:
Creative Fingers Challenge #84: Anything Goes (2/3)(sdh a. p.)
Simply Paper Craft #7: Anything Goes (2/3)(sdh a. p.)
DRS Thursday Challenge #179: Inspired by Color Challenge(sdh a. p.)

My Sheri Crafts Challenge #159: Masculine Projects(sdh a. p.)
Suzy Bee´s Bloomin´ Challenge #85: Anything Goes with a twist - Something Blue (sdh a. p.)
Second card I really like to use again the color combo on this challenge:
Colour Q Challenge #295:
I love this color combo and want to try my luck again with this challenge...
How I made my card:
1. I used My Favorite Things Stencil on the Background and using Spun Sugar Distress ink I sponged the background.
2. The butterfly I have got from my Lovely friend FLO (many thanks liebe Flo for this nice and adorable butterfly cut out), and this butterfly was in white...
3. I colored the back side butterfly with Navy Blue Copic Color
4. And the other butterfly, I put on the clear ink and gave gold embossing powder on it and embossed it, I did it three times...Love so much the result.
Challenges I like to join with this card are:
Colour Q Challenge #295:
AAA Cards Game #42: Paste and/or Stencils (bis July 4th)(sdh a. p.)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Used your Favorite Technique and/or Product (I love to use my stencil and sponged it for my Background and I love to used the MFT Stencil and the Cut Out Butterfly)(sdh a. p.)

I love the stamped background that you made for your fun nautical card! Thanks for joining us at My Sheri Crafts.
ReplyDeleteI am going to be joining the Sunday Stamps challenge soon... And I just love your nautical card.. what a cute boy card and it is genius that you left it without a sentiment. You can just put one on when you are in need of a card... awesome... Sentiment could be: 'you are my lifesaver' ha!!
ReplyDeleteYour colour Q design is just divine!! So simple and so dramatic!! the gold butterfly is the star of the show!! Again, left without a sentiment.. just awesome!!
That golden butterfly - so pretty! and you nautical card is another beauty - you do those so well. Nautical just does not excite me....I stay away from it...
ReplyDeleteOoooo, a nautical card, they're my favorites!! This is brilliantly designed as I believe it's perfect for both a young boy and an old man. Must look for this stamp set!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to gold emboss the butterfly, beautiful shine and I love its kind of metallic look.
Great mans card. Thank you for joining us at Kraftyhands Challenge. Linda x
