A card using stencil technique I have seen from Jennifer MC Guire, and I like to use again that technique on this card.
Here is how I made my card:
Using Artplorations Butterflies first I spopnged white ink on the orange paper.
Using Artplorations Butterflies first I spopnged white ink on the orange paper.
Then I sponged orange ink by moving a bit the stencil, this time I used Distress Ink in orange color (ripe persimmon)
Here is once more Photo of my card:

My second card is a CAS card using the new stamp set I order from Stamplorations the GROOVY SHOES Set. If you know me since long time I love making shoe cards...here is another collection of shoe stamp I have to get in my collection :)
I really like this stamp set and the sentiment is so cool I think.... I took also the Artplorations Retro Circles Stencil and sponged it at my white card stock with purple Distress Ink.

ReplyDeleteHugs, Tammy
Beautiful! I love the shadow effect with the white ink, and your butterflies are so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThe first one is so dreamy Monika, I like the shades of tone on tone used in here, and you are an expert at making shoe cards, this one is no exception.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful creations Monika. Your are the queen of stamping.

Beide Karten sind wieder wundervoll,
ReplyDeletedie Schmetterlinge sehen so klasse aus mit dieser Technik (ich werde es auch versuchen)
LG hellerlittle

Oooh! So cool, Monika! You've given me another idea with that stencil we share! The shoe looks very funky against the stencilled background. Very retro! As for your orange butterfly card - it's stunning!! So glad you could join us at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful creation, love the soft colouring through the stencil!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with us at Inspiration Destination this week, good luck!
Hugs Shell xx
Die erste Karte ist toll!!! Die versetzten Schmetterlinge sehen auf dem orangen Hintergrund wunderbar aus.
ReplyDeleteDie Schuhkarte gefällt mir ebenfalls sehr gut. Diese Schuhe wagt man kaum zu tragen, dafür braucht man Stützen, um das Gleichgewicht halten zu können *kicher*
Liebe Grüße,
Flo
Beautiful butterfly card Monika and of course you always make fabulous shoe cards!
ReplyDeleteWow this is a cool card Monika!! The vivid orange with the sponged white ink makes these already amazing butterflies SPECTACULAR. And that die with its 2 layers of delicious black is perfectly placed on the card. Rounding the corners softens it up a bit which I like a lot..
ReplyDeleteOkay now to your high heel card.. So you Monika!! I love it!! Especially the circles. hehehee. Your color choice is fantastic that goes so well with your CAS design.. Great job my friend!!
Such pretty cards, Monika!
ReplyDeleteOh I remember when we did this tech.. I love the look then and I love the look now. Great butterflies and color choices. Love the Hello.. The shoe card is awesome. Great cards my friend. Hugs
ReplyDelete2 fab card and thanks for sharing with us at Crafty Catz with our anything goes challenge . Hope to see you again in the new challenge starting friday.

Hi Monika. I'm away visiting my new grandson so haven't had much time to comment. The cards here are both lovely. I like the shoes too!
ReplyDeleteThe technique for the butterfly card is absolutely adorable! Wonderful card, Monika! Hugs from your crafty friend stempelfrida

Amazing what you've achieved by using only a stencil and inks and die cut sentiment! So easy, so effective!
ReplyDeleteLol, a new shoe stamp, like you have no one since before. One can never have too many:) do you have many shoes IRL too? That would be my guess. Or you do stamps only due to storage issues, haha. Love the retro effect added by those inked circles. Fun!
Beautiful card. Thank you for sharing with Allsorts 'Birthday' challenge and good luck x Susan x
ReplyDeleteThat butterfly card is so cheerful, Nika, love it! The next time you create a new challenge, it should be inspired by shoes! (I myself am a shoe-aholic, but I only have one shoe stamp...)
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Love how gorgeous your orange card is - so beautifully done!! And your show card has spunk, and spice and sassiness! Well done!!
ReplyDeleteOOH, your butterfly card is so bright and cheerful! I love your shoe card and any girlie would love getting it! You are rocking these cards!
ReplyDeleteThe butterfly card is soooo pretty. The shoe... what can I say? You are an expert at making shoe themed cards! :)
