ATSM #219 CAS card with FAUX TEXTURED METAL Technique and my last Halloween Card

We meet again at Wednesday and it means a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More (ATSM) this week we have theme: Make Your Mark

We have a lovely sponsor from

Stamplorations

 Prize is: 2 Digital Images

I have ever looked at Jennifer McGuire Video and fell in love with this technique. Problem was I did not have Perfect Pearls. As I visited Stempel Oase in Munich that is a little but complete Stamp store in Munich, I was lucky to get one package of clear Perfect Pearls. Here is the result of that Perfect Pearls, I really love the shiny on that colored area :)

I was masking the white area of the card stock, then I sponging the color Spun Sugar and the Purple Distress Ink. After that I gave Perfect Pearls on it and then run through the Big Shot with this floral Embossing Folder. I choose only simply Hello sentiment for showing that lovely shiny faux textured metalic area.

I simply adhere the panel on a purple cardstock and I can called my card is finished :)

Also I took sticker from my son`s collection and adhere on this card stock.

I also fussy cut the bubble self and the doodle EYES LINE I drew with white pen like you can see here, and the card was finished in only 10 minutes (because the Sticker-helped me :))

  12. Your faux metal card looks beautiful. I've tried this technique too and had to get my hands on perfect pearls. I did find two colors, and to be honest, I think you come a long way with just the clear one. It works on top of every color. I just love the shimmer and shine. Nice embossed pattern too. Glad to see you entered it in our challenge at Catch the Bug too.
Your Halloween card is too cute to spook. This little gang can be used with other sentiments as well and will work for instance for children's birthday cards. Sweet and fun!
