I must tell you I never invest or buy stamp special for Valentine cards..thats Why I dont have a special Valentine or heart stamps...I took this tiny Heart stamp from TAWS True Colors set, and started to stamp on a watercolor paper:
Here is the finish card I made with that selfmade HEART paper.
As I have a boo booo area under the main panel, I took a strip of pink paper and stamped my sentiment there and adhere that pink paper under the main panel.
Challenges for my card are:
A perfect Time to Craft Challenge#2: Anything Goes
HLS February Watercolour Challenge:
Uniko Challenge: January Anything Goes with an Optional Twist of Love
----------------------------------------------
I also made this card for Hubby, its not easy to make a valentine card without PINK and RED colors...hubby love Blue color...also here is what I can think at the moment...if I think its not so good for him I can still make once more LOL..
It was not easy to think which Image is better for manly valentine card...I thik of truck full with heart but then it should be red there on the colors of heart...then I think to drew Heart and colored it with blue (oops if you want to know I have no DIES or Special Heart stamp for valentine..as I told above :)) but Blue heart looks like a sad card...also change all my mind...
And I found this..hubby loves COFFEE (I like hot choco and tea) also I stamped first the sentiment and embossed it with black embossing powder, then Stamped the Coffee Mug from Create A Smile stamp set with light blue ink.
Again I colored with Peerless Transparent Watercolors, and choose two different shade of blue.
For CAS challenge I dont think I need more decoration on my white card stock, also I only embossed it with embossing folder from We R Memory. (Geometric)
Challenges for my SECOND card are:
HLS February CAS Challenge:
Colour Crazy Challenge Week 5: Anything Goes
Kraftin`Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes
DLART Linky Challenge: Anything Goes February
Crafting By Design: February Anything Goes (3/3)
FFC Jo Scrap Shack #174: Anything Goes (2/3)
Digistamps4Joy #133: Anything Goes(2/3)
Thanks for looking and leaving me some love, wishing you happy Saturday :)

But hearts I can use for wedding cards etc too. But with limited supplies comes creativity to you, look how fantastic that own made pink and red panel turned out! And the coffee card, super for a male, and lovectgst cool embossed pattern!

ReplyDelete2 fantastic cards here Monika and I'm afraid I can't pick a favourite as they are both so stunning. Love the red hot valentine pinks and reds but totally love the non-conventional colour way for the occasion and those embossing folders are just awesome aren't they? So much detail and a fun element to the card. Great to see you playing along at Uniko and HLS CAS challenge this week. Sarah
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards Monika! I love all of the hot pink on your first card and WOW I love that embossing folder on your second card!

I love the three panel heart card. I love the colors, the whole look is awesome. The second card for your hubby is wonderful, awesome and very creative. Who says you have to use red. This is perfect. Even if you just drew a red heart on the coffee cup if you felt it needed it would be perfect. I think he's going to love this. I love the embossing geometric on that card. Where did you get it??????? I see these as winners. Hug my friend.
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous designs. Love the colours of the three panel heart card, and the fabulous embossed panel behind the coffee card.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining in with my Love, Love, Love challenge this time.
