I was looking at so interesting embossing paste technique at Jennifer Mc Guire Youtube video. And this is the result after I see Jennifer video:
I have some stencil not much only Star, Dots, Stripes and Alphabet one. After looking at her funtastic video then I ordered these set of stencils and some ZING embossing powder (the colors are really yummy like candy colors :) )
I was so happy (like a little girl get a lollipop) at the time I opened my order packaging, they are so yummy stencil and none of them is flower stencil :)
This is the step I made for my card, but I was not waiting for 15 minutes like Jennifer did, I was so impatient to use my heat tool to embossed my embossing powder also my Stencil + embossing paste + embossing powder made an extra texture to my card :)
Here is the whole look of my card, the embossing powder is green and looks like a yummy candy from my son :)
I have seen this lovely color combo from:
ColourQ Challenge #283:
I have got this lovely cute out "HELLO" from my sweet friend PIA, dear Pia again many many thanks for your goodies it really means to me as I have no die cut machine :) . And that sentiment was in white colour as I want to follow the colour combo from the colour challenge, I coloured my sentiment with grey copic marker.
Here is one more picture of my card:

--------------------EDITED-------------------
I made also this card last night, I have no good lamp at night to make the foto of my card also here I make foto in the day and I want to add this card to this post too :)
I see so many green challenge otside there also I made another card with much green color on my card.
First using the same technique like my first card I did with the stripes Stencil. But please dont blame me...I am newbie also some of the embossing paste come inside the stencil (SAD) and it looks so messy on this picture:
But I choose only a little part of this embossing paste "result" paper:
May I tell you how yummy is this green I love it much and so much texture the embossing paste can give its really amaze me :)
Here is the card I made last night:

Stunning card - what a great technique! Jo x
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards! I love the effect you got with the embossing powder on the paste! I'll have to check out that video!
ReplyDeleteWow, Monika, two beautiful cards! You must have been so happy to get the new stencils and embossing powder! I only have a very few stencils myself and I keep hoping to win some! I love how you stencilled the background - I want to try it! I am a fan of Jennifer McGuire's videos too!
ReplyDeleteOh, and you mentioned my washi tape. Yes I do have a large collection - I was lucky to win some washi tape last year - twice - 20 rolls in total! And also I found some in bargain bins or dollar stores, I found my Valentine's tapes for 10 rolls in a package for only 10 cents in a clearance bin - that was about 4 years ago so I have been collecting it for a while! I haven't been buying it lately but you can see I don't need to buy any hehe.
I wish I could share some of my washi tape with you but the postage costs are too high for bulky items like this, and I have no money, sadly. Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog!
Just discovered you've linked-up these two beauties at Naughty Or Nice... so glad you did! Jo x

Wow - you are on a roll!! Great cards!!! I have stencils AND embossing paste and have never used them to create this sort of background even though that is precisely what I bought them for. Shame on me. You have inspired me to crack them out. Thanks for joining us at Create with Connie and Mary this week. xx
Jaul, wein, heul :-(((
Liebe Grüße,
Flo
