I embossed the pink card base, stamped the Violin then stencil the Tag with MFT stencil and then embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. The tag I was Die Cut first before I gave the brown paper at the bottom part of the tag.

Pink and brown is such a lovely colour combo, Monika ... what a pretty tag and great background texture! Thanks so much for playing along with us again at Seize the Birthday! Anita - Surprise Party Guest :)
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Monika.
ReplyDeleteMonika - This is SO cute! Love the texture you've added - and the image/sentiment are ADORABLE. Thank you so much for playing along with this week's Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge. I'm glad you did.
ReplyDeleteHello, Monika! These are beautiful! The magnetic bookmark is a brilliant idea! I love the pink and the embossing! Wonderful music theme! I fell in love with the second card! I love scene cards - the squirrel is so cute and adorable! The burlap adds wonderful texture! I will try to visit more of your cards this week, Monika! I will be blogging each day for the Cat Lovers Hop! We are waiting to hear when the contractors are coming to do the repairs - I think they will be delayed! I hope I find out soon!
ReplyDeleteAlso I wanted to mention to you that your emails are no longer being sent to me. I am not receiving any of my Feedburner email subscriptions for the last couple weeks. This happens quite a lot - they stop for awhile and then they start again. There is no way to predict it. I didn't mind this time because I am on a blog break but I wanted to tell you. Do you know if any of your other friends are still getting the emails, or is it just me that this happens to?
Thank you for the sweet birthday wishes! I am excited about the kitty card you are making for me! Yay!
Lovely card with beautiful embossing. Fun second card with lovely layout.
ReplyDeleteThank you for playing along with us at Crafty Gals Corner.

I forgot to say think you for the win in the previous pits, looking forward to color the cardinals:)
ReplyDeleteAnother great bookmark card. The pink makes this one more feminine. Although, young men today like pink, did you know? My nephews, aged 17 and 19, have been in and out of pink phases colorwise...
I think you're great at coloring. It isn't my strength, and I nearly didn't get into cardmaking for my fear of coloring. I'll never be an expert, but I'm fine with that, and I use my own tricks. The little squirrel is beautifully colored and love the inked sky. Great take on the sketch, a super cute card.
Lovely card. Just perfect for our ribbon challenge at Creative Card Crew. Thanks for joining us!
