I knew Billie Anderson from Ink On My Finger since I was joining Make it Monday challenge (its already closed now, sad), then we continued to encourage each other on our blog...(thanks dear Billie it always a happiness to see your smile face on my comment section :) )
Billie and me have an idea how about if we make our own challenge, MAKE OWN BACKGROUND PAPER. Each week we will pick a theme and Billie make a card (me too) with that theme.
This week is our first week, I choose the theme SENTIMENT as a BACKGROUND PAPER. Here is the card I made:
I first stamped the sentiment for background with these tools:
Here is the closer look of my Background Stamped Paper:
I then stamped again the sentiment with black ink on a white paper and put on the top of the black paper and adhere on my card, I stamped also 4 times the sunglasses on the main Sentiment.
Here is our CASE ing card from ANGEL RIVERA:
Here is the card I made:(Complete Photo)
Hope you like our post, and dont forget to visiting Billie´s Blog and see the card that she made and leave her some love :)
Challenges I love to join with my card are:
Sister Act Challenge #95: Anything Goes (sdh a. p.)
Uniko Studio Challenge #18: Birthday (sdh a. p. me as top 3 with my flower card for my mom)
Show CASe Your Style #9: Birthday (sdh a. p.)
Seize The Birthday: MASCULINE (something I love to make :) )(sdh a. p.)
The Alley Way Stamps March Link Up Party : (sdh a. p.)
-------------------------------------------------
As I am so lazy to make two post on a day also here is another card I made for the challenge at CASology Week 135: MINI (sdh a. p.)
Here is what I thought:
I choose the image is from The Alley Way Stamp and the sentiment is from Create a Smile Stamp.
Another Challenge I love to join with my card are:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes (sdh a. p.)
A Gem of A Challenge #139: Clean and Simple(sdh a. p.)
The Crafting Cafe (March Challenge): Welcome Little One (sdh a. p.)
Less is More week 213: This makes me Happy (I am happy to use this cute Image ONESIES and that lovely sentiment on my card and I am happy to make another CAS Card)(sdh a. p.)
Thanks for looking and happy monday :)

You rocked another stamped background, and your baby card is adorable!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are great. I love that you and Billie have started a fun challenge between you two. I've made my own background paper when I couldn't find anything to match and to save money. I hear things are a tad more expensive where you are. Love your interpretation. The mini card is adorable too...perfect..CAS.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea, my friend! The challenge of making your own bg is a wonderful way to encourage and inspire each other. I love your wordy bg. Also the onsie care is CAS perfection! Well done. Off to take a peek at Billie's card now. :)
