Another month another new monthly challenge at House of Cards, this time the theme is Food&/or Color Inspiration.
Also I use my old Digi Images from Digi Doodle Best (but so sad that the shop was already closed) I have ever made a card using this lovely digi Image, please klick here if you like to see my older creation.
Here is the card I made for DT member for this month challenge:
How I made my card:
1. First I colored the Image with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi water color set. I choose the similar colors like the grafik above.
2. Adhere the main Image on the Frame that I got from my lovely friend Monika (Cohena).... dear Monika, many thanks for this lovely frame...love to use it.
3. I want to make my card with a different fold a bit also I cut the front panel a half and gave the woodgrain embossing paper in yellow and adhere the frame and main image.
The sentiment is a German Word for Thanks, I bought it on a store in Munich here, its a sentiment stamp with so many "Danke" in different type of font.

OOOOOOOOOOO, AHHHHHHHHHH, this card is so comforting.. It reminds of when I would visit my now husband in his hometown and we would pick wild strawberries.. Oh those were the days..

ReplyDeleteA very sweet summery card. Great idea to add the sentiment in the one corner of the image, both because it's the best place for it and also because it's very decorative. Have you invested in a machine now? Love that woodgrain embossed paper and different fold.

ReplyDeleteHi Monika, this is so pretty and just love how you coloured the strawberries. Such a brilliant idea to have the black, lacy frame and having it hang off the card is genius! Brilliant card. Hope all is well with you and the family. We are in the middle of school holidays. Today I have some boys coming to hang out with Max and play on their ipods etc and eat lollies. Phoebe and I will hide in her bedroom with our own lollies and watch Modern Family on DVD. The boys will have a blast!!
