Today is my hubby's birthday ...yesterday I made this card first ..he loves his new coffee machine...also I got the idea ..make a birthday card with coffee theme. Here it is:
I stamped the COFFEE with white ink and gave orange color on the dark brown paper and stamped many tiny stamp on the white paper, the color are from this challenge Colour Q #303:
Here is the card before assemble:
Here is the stamp sets I used for my card:

Simply Create Too #92: Anything Goes
Simply Papercraft Challenge #11: Anything Goes

I choose the coffee mug image from Create a Smile and colored with copic marker. Make a Tag for the main Image and sentiment and stamp the coffee stainwith brown ink and some coffee bean at the other edge. This card I made for only 10 minutes :)

Hallo Monika,
Klasse!!! Das war sehr viel _Arbeit, denke ich - oder???
Genieß das Wochenende mit deiner tollen Familie,
Flo
Your cards are great! I also bought my hubby a coffee machine for his birthday. Your picture is so lovely - you are a beautiful family! Jo x
ReplyDeleteHello, Monika! It was so nice of you to visit my blog - I was very happy to see your comment! Your coffee cards are wonderful! I think like your hubby - I prefer to second one for a man. I like the first one but I think either a man or woman would enjoy it! Happy Birthday to your hubby! What a beautiful family you have! And Wow, you have a lot of coffee stamps! You will be all ready for the next coffee lover's blog hop LOL! I hope you are having a great summer!
ReplyDeleteYou look so happy, congratulations to your hubby! The cards are gorgeous, Monika, you made good use of the stamp sets, I do love the second one too :)
ReplyDeleteI live in Stockholm in Sweden, not so far away from Munich.
Love and hugs

Fabulous cards Monika and the photo of you family is Beautiful..Loz
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are great, Monika but my favorite is the first one! Happy birthday to your husband. Thanks for sharing a picture of you and your loved ones. You all looks very pretty.
ReplyDeleteOh wow--what an adorable family picture, Monika! My husband has fond memories of his Army time in Germany many, many years ago. Your stamped background is fabulous, but I have to say, the second card is a masterpiece! Love it's simplicity & perfect use of the images!
ReplyDeleteHubby usually has all he needs, so I end up buying something I want, lol. But for the both of us to use. He got a coffee machine about three years back. For his latest birthday I gave him a soda pop machine. I love water with bubbles, I haven't drunk this much water in years!
ReplyDeleteYour second card is definitely suitable for a man. And those coffee stains MUST be from a man, we women don't mess that much:) your first card us more busy, but I wouldn't say it's unsuitable for a man. It's a true Monika design, using lots of stamps and no DP, it only looks that way:)
so cute!
