Hi my Blogland friend..it is not because I dont want to play with my papers and visiting my lovely blogland..it is because life is so hectic here in Munich :)
I have a bit time to play with my papers last night also a CAS Card I need for a friend who love to play saxophone.....
I am sorry with the quality of the picture, I have no camera and it was took in the office with my mobile phone, then the card I gave to my friend who play saxophone :) no chance to take it again and make Photo :) (LOL)
How I made, I mask the white area, stamped the music note with blue ink, sponged a bit the edge with distress ink in blue and embossed with black embossing powder the main Image, the Sentiment embossed with white E. Powder.

Love,
This is beautifully done, Monika! Do you have the saying in Germany 'To blow your own trumpet'???? It sort of means to tell everyone how great you think you are. You asked if I'd got your email but I haven't received a long email from you, hun. Hope you manage to get some quality crafting time in over the weekend. Hugs to you, Jo x
ReplyDeleteLove this stamp and how you incorporated not only the (it looks like a cornet, not a trumpet to me!) but also the music background, but still kept it CAS! So glad you joined us at CASology this week, Monika!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card, I bet your friend was thrillied with it. I thought about "Blow your own trumpet" as soon as I saw it too, like Dotty Jo. It means the trumpet is perfect for a Wel Done card!

Super sweet, Monika!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Monika! I love the pretty color combination and the masking technique is spot on!
ReplyDeleteI used to play this instrument, from when I was about 8 to 16. My father plays it too. I actually tried to find a stamp like this earlier this year, as he turned 70. Would you share where you got it please? It's a brilliant CAS design, it looks so nice with the musical notes background...
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card with the blue and black color combo and a great way to congratulate someone!
ReplyDeleteSo cool Monika.
ReplyDeleteFabulous CAS card Monika, I love the music note background!

so simple and sweet Monika!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card, Monika! I like the music note stamp and how you sponged around the edge - it provides a great backing for the trumpet. Great sentiment too! Sorry to hear you have trouble with your camera but I think your phone takes a wonderful photo!
ReplyDeleteJust love this music inspired card Monika!! The distressed blue is just perfect to create a border for the notes!! What talent and inspiration you are!! I also saw a pic your pic of my card!! It got there in one piece!! However the 'H' got a bit wonky but that is okay all I wanted was for you to enjoy it.. All the best my friend and see you soon!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card and fun image and love the colors. Wonderful card and you friend will love it..
ReplyDeleteThe card you gave me is on my coffee table and I see it daily. Love it.. Hugs friend.
