Then I stamped the Anchor with red ink, cut it with Big Shot. For the bigger circle I smoshed the blue ink pad to the paper and I got the same blue paper like stripes one :)
I also using embossing folder for my white paper. Adhere all on the blue card stock and I can called my card finished. (sentiment and Anchor are from Lawn Fawn)
Challenges for my card are:
The Challenge #66:
CASE this Sketch #165:
Cardz 4 Guys: Something Beginning with A (ANCHOR)
Word Art Wednesday #224-#225: Anything Goes
----------------------------------------
For my second card I have seen a lovely tutorial from Origami Dress in YOUTUBE. This is my very first Origami Dress I ever made in my life :) next time I have to used not Designed Paper but Washi Paper cause it is more thick than Washi/Japanes Paper.
I also used my old embossed lamp, to make the circle on my white paper:
Here is the Origami Dress and the Cardbase before assemble. Did you see if we embossed the circle self you can put where you like the big circle, the small and the middle one.
I love the result of this card hope you too :) it is CAS and it has only two layers and no embellishment only the washi tape in red polkadots.
Challenges for my card are:
1. Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes
2. Less Is More: POLKADOTS
3. C.R.A.F.T Challenge: Create your Own Background Paper (I did my self the circle on my white cardstock)
4. Crafty Galz Corner #65: Anything Goes

ReplyDeleteI really like how you made your own embossing 'folder' with different sized spots. The folded dress is beautiful and the tapes work so well on here. Great job!

ReplyDeleteYou are amazing. There really is a first time for everything-- I've never done an origami dress, either! (Maybe never will!) Very fun girly card. And then the anchor card is so well put-together: that rope folder is perfect with the nautical theme, and those stripes look like seersucker fabric-- very beachy!
