I can not stop to make Geometric card...it is really a fun challenge from Inkspirational . This time I choose the color combo challenge too to mix with this Geometric challenge. Here is step by step I did:
with pink ink first I stamped all white area of my cardstock.
then this teal color..but I did a bit mistake I try to stamped twice in one area but the stamp was move also thats my Boo Boo area :(( (see picture)
Here is the finished card I made:For the sentiment I stamped the alphabet from Hero Arts with teal color and punched it one by one to make word BIRTHDAY with my circle "mini" SU puncher.
I really love the bottom part of this card :) the "Happy" I have got from my lovely friend Joyce, dear Joyce again I used your lovely die cutting paper and I really love this sentiment ..many many thanks Joyce you are so very kind to me :). And dont complain please some area was not stamped in a right way..also you see some WHITE area on the background I made...but I still learn :)
Challenges for my card are:

My second card I want to join once more at CASology with SPIN Cue Card this week, here is my interpretation:

ReplyDeleteBeautiful way of making your geometric cards,Monika! Great choice of colours and your stamping is very neat!

Well done stamping with those small triangle stamps! I'm sure it was very fun to get all inky and learn at the same time. Love the colors. Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable baby card...I love the paper-pieced pinwheels! Thanks for playing along again this week at CASology, Monika!

ReplyDeleteLove your stamped geometric background panel! Thanks for joining us at The Color Throwdown!
ReplyDeleteThe pinwheels are so cute paper pieced! Thanks for joining us at the CASology challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteMoMo: no complaints here! I like things a little imperfect! In fact, I prefer it! You rock, and you have a positive attitude about boo-boos! The pinwheels are perfect for a baby boy card. Did you cut the pieces by hand to paper-piece?
ReplyDeleteJust LOVE those three spinners, so beautifully paper-pieced, Monika! Perfect for a 'welcome baby boy' card. Love that you used three too. Looks wonderful! Thanks for popping by and saying hi, and thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful geometric card, Monika!!!! I really like your triangle stamps and you have done great with the colours!!!!! And remember ...our cards are handmade so a small boo-boo is definitely OK ...machine made cards are perfect (...but not as special, hey!!!!!) I love how you've done the sentiment with the die cut 'happy' and the circle letters!!!! And your baby card is so cute with the pinwheels ...so clever and lovely to do the paper piercing!!! Such cute frames for the pinwheels!!! A lovely boy card, my friend!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!!!!

Fun cards - especially the geometric one! Neat tool, that little Fiskars thingy ;) - your second card is a beautiful CAS card!
ReplyDeleteYou must have covered up the boo boo area because it isn't visible on your finished card. As I tend to say, if people want a mass produced perfectly straight and even card buy one in the store. If you want a unique one, no two alike with tons of charm and perhaps a few mishaps here and there, make one, lol. Going geometry I found a bit challenging, we're so different, aren't we...
ReplyDeletePinwheel card is brilliant, ultra CAS and so pretty to look at. Not a fault in sight!
Hallo Monika,
ReplyDeletebeide Karten gefallen mir richtig gut. Und die Umsetzung des CAS-Themas finde ich absolut gelungen und schön mit den kleinen Windrädchen. Klasse!
Herzlichen Dank für Deine Teilnahme an der BaLiSa-Challenge und viele Grüße!
Hi Monika! I think your stamped background is absolutely amazing and I wouldn't have noticed your boo boo if you hadn't pointed it out - seriously. Great colors and wonderful card. Really lovin' your CAS pinwheel baby card! Thanks so much for joining us at Catch the Bug Challenges!
ReplyDeleteGreat card and technique. Thanks for joining us at PDE Linky Party.

Hello friend. The background of your card is awesome. Same as you did on mine and I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love the baby card. and so glad you shared it over at Catch the bug. It's darling and perfect.
Another 2 lovely cards Monika, I love the second one, it is clean and simple, and the pinwheels looks great.
ReplyDeleteTolle Idee mit den Windrädern, sieht sehr gut aus Deine Karte, beide natürlich. Danke fürs Mitmachen bei BaLiSa.
ReplyDeleteViele Grüße Silvia
Tolle Karte!
ReplyDeleteVielen Dank für deine Teilnahme bei BaLiSa.

Your cards are great. I especially like the one with the presents. You should not be so hard on yourself. We all make boo-boos, but they are hand made with love, so it's okay. We are all learning from each other all the time. So glad I found your blog and can be inspired by your creativity. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a fantastic job with your cards, Monika! Even when we've been at this a very, very long time, we still make boo-boos! In fact, I'm so old now that I'm going backwards, I think, and make them MORE often, haha! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #6 with your sweet pinwheel card! I also love your second entry with the wonderful damask embossing and scoring!! Sorry I'm so late in commenting. Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely cards. Don't worry so much about mistakes, they are either meant to be or an opportunity for embellishments. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us over at Challenge up your Life!
